Smart Tuition charges an annual $50 account set up fee. The fee is charged on a per-account, per-school-year basis. All families are required to set up a Smart Tuition account, regardless of payment method selected.
Deposits are $500 for each student.
All deposits are directly applied to tuition and confirm your enrollment.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Payment options available are annual, bi-annual, quarterly, or monthly.
All payment options begin in July or upon enrollment.
Note: Any student withdrawing on or after July 15th, 2024 is subject to a reduced refund.
529 PLANS EXPANDED: EFFECTIVE FOR DISTRIBUTIONS MADE AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2017, 529 ACCOUNTS MAY DISTRIBUTE UP TO $10,000 PER STUDENT PER YEAR FOR TUITION AT A PUBLIC, PRIVATE OR RELIGIOUS ELEMENTARY OR SECONDARY SCHOOL.
